Formed in 2021 by original CASIOPEA members Tetsuo Sakurai (bass), Akira Jimbo (drums), and Minoru Mukaiya (keyboards), the group swept audiences from all walks of life—from longtime fans to younger listeners—into a whirlwind of wild enthusiasm.
In 2022, after building anticipation, they finally unveiled a thrilling new song with their signature fusion sound. Shooting to No. 1 on the iTunes Store Jazz Chart, they also embarked on a seven-stop hall tour with an outpouring of enthusiasm across the country.
In 2023, they released their first original album M.R.I_Mirai. Its title track, released in advance digitally, also soared to No. 1 on the jazz chart, and their third nationwide tour saw several sold-out dates.
In 2024, with an even more innovative sound, they released their second album Wild Guys in the Universe. The accompanying hall tour drew crowds on a scale far surpassing the previous one.
Then, in autumn 2025, they released their third album “Organic” feat. LA Strings, recorded in Los Angeles with legendary engineer Don Murray. The tour that followed also came to a close in a blaze of excitement.
In 2026, they took the stage overseas for the first time with performances in Taipei and Seoul, where wildly enthusiastic crowds proved their popularity had gone global. Their fourth album is set for release in autumn.
